Description
This vibrant little image of a kingfisher would look great on your walls, maybe as part of a group with my other bird pieces. These are part of a series of British birds, glimpsed on my visits to local nature reserves on the Somerset levels.
Printed in 3 layers using the reduction method of lino printing, the striking colours of his plumage really stand out.
This is a limited edition of 12 hand pulled lino prints, so each one has subtle differences. Some are printed on Bristol board, others on rice paper.
The artwork will be supplied unframed, so you can finish it suit your home.

This beautiful area provides the inspiration for much of my work, ranging from colourful bird lino prints, to intricate drypoint landscapes. I also enjoy using my proofs and waste papers to produce collages and mixed media pieces.
I am always extending my skills through education and exhibiting in open calls which help me find new ways of working, keeping my practice fresh.
