Description
This beautiful image features a great crested grebe in its breeding plumage. It captures the elegance of the bird against a background of reeds in lovely autumnal tones. It will appeal to all lovers of wildlife.
He is printed in 3 layers using the reduction method of lino printing, using caligo Safewash inks. He is one of a series of limited-edition lino prints of British birds inspired by my visits to nearby nature reserves.
This is a limited edition of 14, printed on white Bristol board.
The artwork will be supplied unframed, so you can finish it suit your style.

This beautiful area provides the inspiration for much of my work, ranging from colourful bird lino prints, to intricate drypoint landscapes. I also enjoy using my proofs and waste papers to produce collages and mixed media pieces.
