Description
A vibrant, expressive painting of a tree in an abstract, impressionistic style. A dark, sweeping trunk and branching limbs rise through the centre, surrounded by clusters of loosely defined foliage. The palette is rich and energetic, combining deep cobalt and turquoise blues, coral and crimson reds, warm oranges and golds, soft pinks, lavender, and touches of white.
The background is filled with layered, textured brushstrokes that create a sense of a colourful garden or woodland rather than a clearly defined landscape. Bold vertical strokes on the left add warmth and structure, while the cooler blues and greens around the canopy create contrast.
