A hand-built bowl in grey stoneware, with layers of slips, glazes, oxides, and decals made from my drawings. Textured surface, one off piece, nonfunctional. I build my one-off pieces by hand, and then layer up painted, monoprinted, stencilled and carved imagery. Glazes and photographic decals are added at different stages. Inspiration is often drawn from museum display, tourism/travel and the souvenir.
