Dan Harland (b.1990) is a painter, born and based in Leeds, U.K.
He uses the immediate act of drawing to transcribe conscious recollection as his reference to examine specific memories, their reliability and intangibility, bringing into question their significance in relation to self-determination. Oil paint, Ink, graphite and the flat, exposed surface combine to fuse the materiality of the present with the illusion of the past.
